Comments & Further Information

First UK edition hardback translated from the German by Anthea Bell. Please note, this book was originally published in 1976 under the title Falle Fur Perseus. The book is in very good condition for its age. Some age tanning to pages. The top of the pages have some very minor foxing which can be seen when the book is closed but this does not encroach on the page faces. “In the year 2275, Commander Steve Blair of the spacecraft Perseus III discovers that the Argo, a spaceship which slipped mysteriously from radio contact with Earth 200 years ago, did not perish as was then believed. Aboard the Argo, Blair finds that the spaceship’s 120,000 crew members have adapted to life in deep space and that their old ideas of happiness and morality have also developed and taken on entirely new meanings. As a prisoner of the Argo system, Blair is expected to accept this new ideology. But what will happen to him if he refuses and how is he to escape?” IN STOCK FOR IMMEDIATE DESPATCH
