SYNOPSIS: “The Warrior who carried Life . . . is a woman. Cara was five years old when her mother was killed. Her mother was killed for going down into the wells of vision where only men were allowed. Her mother had come back from them with a vision of terrible and wonderful things that were to come… all because of Cara.
Years later, evil destroys Cara’s family – her father and her brothers. In a rage, Cara adopts the guise of violence. By magic, she transforms herself into a male warrior. But she finds that to defeat her enemies, she must break the cycle of violence, not continue it. In order to defeat them she must make them immortal.”
