Comments & Further Information

This is a UK edition trade paperback.  The title was originally published in 2020 but this is a later undated reprint.  Although the publications details page states it’s a first edition, I do not believe it to be because of the ISBN – the other books in this series do not have a 13 number sequence so this leads me to believe this is a reprint.

The covers are showing some slight signs of storage wear to the extremities.

The first volume in the three-volume History of the Science Fiction Magazine.

SYNOPSIS:  “This first book in the series looks at the exuberant years of the pulp magazines.  It traces growth and development of the science fiction magazines when Hugo Gernsback launched the first, Amazing Stories, in 1926 through to the birth of the atomic age and the death of the pulps in the early 1950s.”
