Comments & Further Information

A UK paperback with a stated 6th impression 1974.  In very good condition for its age.  Heavy age tanning to pages making them rather brown, but still eminently readable.  The covers are showing signs of wear to the extremities.  Crease at the bottom of the front cover and also at top left-hand corner of rear cover.

A Matt Helm novel – No 4.

SYNOPSIS:  “Helm has her taped from the start. She stripped like a professional and that was good – but she had more to expose than her body. Like a small spool of microfilm and a few jumbled lines of code. Helm had to get to her fast.

And then some louse threw the knife and the floor show was over.

That left Helm with the baby – and Gail Hendricks. Her act was more convincing than her sister’s, and she could talk. Helm was the first to listen. It looked like the American’s underground test explosion – Operation Mole – was due for a bigger bang than planned, courtesy of some extremist agitators. One in particular being the ‘Cowboy’ a big Texan with hands the size of crane grabs.”
