Comments & Further Information

A first UK edition hardback in good condition for its age.  Small bumps to head and tail of book spine and the top and bottom corner of the front board.  Sunned at base of spine.  Heavy age tanning to pages and foxing to the top edges of the pages,  ffep, fep and rear paste-down.  The dust jacket is complete, still shows the price, but is showing signs of wear at the extremities.  Internally it is grubby and there is considerable foxing which is not visible externally.

SYNOPSIS:  “It would be hard to imagine a more successful party than the one which that evening gathered around the Royal Box. Yet, by midnight, one member of the brilliant company was dead in mysterious and highly suspicious circumstances.”
