Comments & Further Information

First UK Edition, first printing. In very good condition for age. Age tanning to pages making them quite brown, but the book remains eminently readable. Price still on dust jacket which is complete. There are two small stains inside the dust jacket (not visible externally) and there is some scuffing to the edges.

SYNOPSIS: “Take three girls: in Carlisle, Mandy Thompson is fifteen and pregnant and alone. Desperate, she takes a bus ride to London. In Newcastle, Tia is sixteen and about to be sent ‘home’ by her strict Bangladeshi parents to meet the husband they have arranged for her to marry. She takes a ride with a friend who is heading for London. And in Oxfordshire, Keryn Hughes is also sixteen and terrified. She has learned something horrific, something that makes it impossible for her to stay at home. In fear for her life, she hitches to London. All three girls are shortly to meet in a refuge.” IN STOCK READY FOR IMMEDIATE DISPATCH
