First UK edition in good condition for its age. Bumped at head and tail of book spine. Age tanning to pages making them very brown, but the book remains eminently readable. The dust jacket is complete and still shows the price. There is some rubbing to the edges. Author’s debut novel. SYNOPSIS” “Dr Tom Carter, a Nobel Prize winning geneticist is riding high. He has invented a revolutionary machine, the Genescope, which can decode the blueprint of man. But at the moment of his greatest triumph, Carter’s world is shattered by the assassination of his wife. He knows that the killer’s bullets can only have been meant for him. In the aftermath of her death, a Genescope scan reveals that his young daughter has inherited an incurable brain disorder and has less than a year to live. Tom Carter needs a miracle. In his quest to beat the disease he joins forces with an ancient brotherhood in an attempt to decode the genes of … God.” IN STOCK READY FOR IMMEDIATE DISPATCH
