Comments & Further Information

This is a first printing of the Keyhole Crime edition. The title was first published in the UK by John Long in 1975.  In good condition for its age, but is showing signs of wear.  Age tanning to pages making them rather brown, ceasing to covers and bump to base of book spine.

SYNOPSIS:  “The British Government is disturbed by intelligence reports from East Germany and Japan that both countries know the latest developments in the top-secret process of carbon fibre manufacture.  At the closely-guarded Leeds factory, only five scientists are capable of leaking classified information about this material – four times stronger than steel and a potential goldmine.

Industrial espionage of such a high order must be stopped immediately, so MI5 send in their top investigators, Farrow and McGowan.  With so few suspects they expect an easy task, but the Leeds Fiasco proves one of their toughest and most dangerous assignments.”
