A first UK edition hardback. Heavy age tanning to pages making them rather brown but still eminently readable. Minor blemish to top of free front end paper. The dust jacket is complete, still shows the price but is showing signs of wear to the extremities. Chips to edges, especially the top edge and is generally grubby.
Author’s debut novel.
SYNOPSIS: ” A prisoner is released in Germany where she has served a sentence for crimes against humanity. Dr Rossler has reason to remember her. News of the woman’s release comes as a shattering blow to the doctor. Should this woman be allowed to live ?”
