This is a UK paperback edition from 1977 which is a reprint of the 1965 Penguin edition with some amendments. See below. Cover illustration by David Pelham.
This book has had a hard life. Age tanning to pages making them rather brown but still eminently readable.
The covers are showing signs of wear to the extremities with rubbing/scuffing to edges and chips to head and tail of book spine. Reading creases down the front cover adjacent to the spine which fan out across the spine (see photos). Crease across the bottom right hand corner of the front cover. The rear cover is creased across the bottom left-hand corner and there is a scuff in the middle of the rear cover.
