Comments & Further Information

A first UK edition hardback in very good condition for its age.  Bumped at head and tail of book spine.  Age tanning to pages.  The dust jacket is complete, still shows the price but is showing signs of wear to extremities.  Very small piece missing at bottom fold in on front of jacket.  Small stain on front flap which has transferred to ffep.

SYNOPSIS:  “When nationally famous investigative reporter Paul Marriott sees a girl throw herself from the roof of his block of flats, he calls the police and makes a routine statement.  The story would scarcely rate a quarter column in his newspaper.

But there are things about the event which intrigue him personally and as he begins to unravel a deeply sinister conspiracy involving a fanatical religious sect, terrorist assassins and a group of men in the higher echelons of political power, he comes close to losing his own sanity, if not his very life…”
