This is a first printing of the Grafton paperback edition from 1989 (the title was previously published in the UK by Corgi in 1983).
REVIEW SLIP laid in. Cover art by Chris Foss.
Age tanning to pages and some foxing to edges. The top edges of the pages are particularly tanned (they photo makes them look whiter than they actually are). The book covers have been encased in a plastic cover at some time in their life and this has left tape marks on the first and last pages of the book.
The covers are showing some slight signs of wear to the extremities. Small crease across the top right-hand corner of front cover and at top edge of rear cover.
SYNOPSIS: “Deep in cryonic suspension, Herb Asher thought he was still happily puttering around in his dome in the star system CY30-CY30B, listening to the latest Linda Fox album.
If only he hadn’t been such a nice guy, he’d still have really been there, instead of playing Joseph to the terminally ill (and pregnant) woman in the next dome and an obstreperous local deity….”
