SYNOPSIS:   “This omnibus edition contains Firespell and Hexbound, books one and two respectively in the “Dark Elite” series.

FIRESPELL – When Lily is sent away to a fancy boarding school in Chicago, the only thing keeping her sane is her roommate Scout. But Scout has secrets, and she often disappears in the middle of the night.  When a prank leaves Lily trapped in the catacombs under the school and she’s attacked by something that shouldn’t exist outside a nightmare, Scout comes to her rescue.  And she tells Lily the truth: she and her friends are fighting a secret war to protect Chicago against demons, vampires, and the corrupted magic users known as Reapers.

HEXBOUND – Even a little magic can turn you to the dark side.  Tha’’s why Lily has to learn how to control her newly discovered paranormal abilities, on top of avoiding the snobs who think they run her school and nursing a crush on a guy named Jason, who has a big werewolf-y secret. Then Lily’s invited to a private meeting with Sebastian.  He’s hot and powerful, and he offers to help her harness the magic flowing in her veins in a way that no one else can.  He’s also a Reaper.  Soon Lily will find out that the line between good and evil isn’t always clear…”
