Comments & Further Information

Stated first edition. The book is in very good condition for its age. The dustjacket is generally grubby, chipped and rubbed and is price-clipped. There is also a stain (about 1cm across) on the inside of the dustjacket which does show through onto the front of the dustjacket. Bumped at head and tail of book spine and also at the bottom of the front board. Small dent in leading edge of board. Foxing to leading edges of pages not affecting text. Contains colour photos as well as black and white. The story of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition 1955-1958 written by Sir Vivian Fuchs and Sir Edmund Hillary.
