A first UK edition hardback with a full 1 to 9 number sequence indicating a first printing. Comes complete with the publisher’s review slip.
Bumped at head and tail of book spine and a minor bump to all four corners of the boards. There is also a bump to the top edge of the rear board which has caused two tiny cracks. The rear board has a mark at the bottom. A hint of foxing to the page edges. Ripple/scratch in the rear pastedown. The dust jacket is complete and still shows the price (£25), but is showing signs of wear to the extremities. It is a little grubby both internally and externally and there is some creasing to match the bumps and along the top edge.
