Comments & Further Information

First UK edition. The book is in good+ condition for its age. The book spine is rubbed at the extremities and there is a minor bump at the bottom right hand corner of the front board. The top, bottom and leading edges of the pages are foxed. There is a green letter “R” on the ffep. The dustjacket is complete but grubby and there are minor chips and nicks along the edges and some staining internally which is not visible externally apart from a patch on the bottom of the rear panel. “The first small explosion went off at the height of New York’s Thanksgiving Day parade along Broadway. The nightmare for Deputy Chief Max Kauffman began when the second bomb, set to go off in Radio City Music Hall, was announced by a phone call to the police. The call was followed by an anonymous note, ‘This is only the Second Day of Christmas’. And Kauffman realized the full horror facing Manhattan in the midst of the Christmas shopping spree – a bomb for each one of the Twelve days.” IN STOCK FOR IMMEDIATE DESPATCH
