Comments & Further Information

A First UK edition hardback in very good condition for its age.  Bumped at head and tail of book spine at the corners of the boards.  Tanning to pages.  The dust jacket is complete, still shows the price but is showing signs of wear to the extremities.  Some creasing at top/bottom of spine and corners of boards,  to mirror the bumps.

Author’s debut novel.

SYNOPSIS:  “Cal was born a pavement child in the city of Mahun the Goddess. There were many like him, but the life is hard: most do not survive. Cal, however, is beautiful, intelligent… and lucky. Having fallen into the hands of the oppressive Matriarchy who have ruled the planet for thousands of years, Cal is rescued by Magon Nonpareil – Archivist of the City.

The Archivist is a man driven by obsessive guilt and ambition: a man who holds the key to the Forbidden Archive and nurses an heretical plan for revolution against the female regime.”
