Comments & Further Information

This book club edition is in very good condition for its age.  Foxing to edges of pages not affecting text and some tanning to pages.  Bumped at head and tail of book spine.  The dust jacket is complete but is showing signs of wear with some minor chips to the edges.  The rear panel is somewhat grubby.

SYNOPSIS:  “The Ambassador is the fruit of long research and intimate experience by the author.  It is a poignant book which brings into sharp focus the moral and political dilemmas of twentieth-century man and his scanty preparation to cope with them.   And it is a book full of challenge for those whose children’s destiny is being shaped in the deltas and the paddy fields of South-East Asia.”
