SYNOPSIS: “Perhaps more so than any other author, Louis L’Amour has come to epitomize the Old West, its legends, its history and its people. Collected here are two of L’Amour’s classic novels, appearing in paperback for the first time in these restored versions. “The Trail to Peach Meadow Canon” was originally published in a magazine, then substantially changed and expanded when it appeared as a full-length novel years later. “Showdown Trail” also first appeared in a magazine but was reworked and expanded into the novel The Tall Stranger. Finally, after all these years, this edition presents these brilliant novellas in their original magazine versions, as they were first written.”
