Comments & Further Information

First UK edition with a full 1 to 10 number sequence indicating a first printing.   In very good condition for its age.  Tanning to pages making them rather brown but still eminently readable.  Small bump to head of book spine.  The dust jacket is complete, still shows the price but is showing some signs of wear at the edges.  There is a small crease at the top of the rear panel of the jacket.

He plays like a man possessed, as if through sheer determination he can defeat the odds and manipulate fate. Into his life comes a beautiful woman bearing a gift – a palm-sized globe of bright red crystal. He has seen one like it before, in Vietnam, where it brought incredible luck at cards to its owner – and sickening violence to those around him…”
