Some internal staining close to binding on a number of pages, some of which affect the text very slightly. Some damage to base of book spine. Edited by Byron Preiss, this collection of short stories (authorised by the estate of the late Raymond Chandler) reveals the missing life history and detective adventures of Philip Marlowe. The stories, each written by some of the the detective mystery genre’s most influential exponents, run chronologically through Marlowe’s career, from 1935 to 1960.
