A first UK paperback edition with a stated First UK publication.
Tanning to pages making them rather brown but still eminently readable. The covers have had a harder life and are generally grubby. There is a stain on the rear cover which is more visible internally than externally (see photos). The covers are worn at the edges and there are creases at the top edge of the front cover, adjacent to the spin; across the bottom right-hand corner of the front cover and at the bottom edge of the rear cover. The rear cover is scuffed and has some indentations in it.
The spine is chipped and has been bumped. There are also some white dots on it (pain?).
