Comments & Further Information

This is a first printing of the Gollancz B format (130 x 198 mm) paperback edition.  Book 35 in Gollancz’s Fantast Masterworks Series.

Age tanning to pages making them rather brown but still eminently readable.  Small bump to head of book spine.  The covers are showing signs of  shelf wear to the extremities including some chips and rubbing.  Crease across the bottom right-hand corner of the front cover and some creasing at the bottom of the rear cover.  The book doesn’t appear to have been read or if it has, it’s been read extremely carefully.

SYNOPSIS:  “The Elder Isles, the magical lands of high enchantment from which King Arthur’s ancestors fled to Britain, comes to brilliant life again in the final part of Vance’s majestic fantasy.

In this ancient land the realm of chivalry and the world of Faerie exist side by side and it is a place of strange beauty, high adventure and eerie magic.”
