A first US edition hardback with a stated first edition published by Doubleday (Doubleday Science Fiction). Rough cut leading edges.
Tanning to pages and some foxing to edges not affecting page faces. Bumped at head and tail of book spine and at bottom right-hand corner of front board. The dust jacket is complete and still shows the price. It is showing some slight signs of wear to the extremities (now encased in a plastic sleeve). The rear panel is a little grubby and there is some some staining at the bottom edge and a black mark at the top edge.
