Comments & Further Information

A UK paperback edition  – film tie-in version.  This is a first printing of the New English Library edition from 1991. (Previously published in 1973 by Jonathan Cape).  Review slip laid in.  In very good condition for its age.  Tanning to pages making them rather brown, but still eminently readable.  The covers are showing signs of wear to the extremities and there is a crease at the bottom edge of the front cover.  Appears unread.

SYNOPSIS:  “Joe Bodenland, a twenty-first century American, passes through a timeslip and finds himself with Byron and Shelley in the famous villa on the shore of Lake Geneva.  More fantastically, he finds himself face to face with a real Frankenstein, a doppelganger inhabiting a complex world where fact and fiction may as easily have congress as Bodenland himself manages to make love to Mary.”
