This is a book club edition hardback which has had a hard life. Bumped at head and tail of book spine and at edges of boards which are stained and rather grubby. Heavy foxing to page edges and some on occasional pages. Residue of sticker on the inside of the front board and at the top of the ffep (someone has tried to scrape the sticker off which has damaged the page a little). The rear board has some sort of residue, perhaps the dust jacket had been attached at one point? Definitely not a collector’s copy!
