A first UK edition paperback published by Signet in 1973. Although the publication details indicate that this is a 10th printing, it is in fact a first printing as there only was one printing! Stated first printing April 1973.
J Morgan Cunningham is a pseudonym of Donald E Westlake. Appears to be a scarce title.
Heavy age tanning to pages making them rather brown but still eminently readable. Insides of covers are also tanned.
The book covers have been encased in a plastic cover at some time in their lives and this has left tape marks on the first and last pages of the book.
The covers are showing some slight signs of wear to the extremities. Tiny crease across the top right-hand corner of the front cover and bottom left-hand corner of rear cover. The covers are more yellow than white.
SYNOPSIS: “HOW MANY OF THEM WERE THERE? There were eight of them. Eight desperate people. What secrets did they share in common? What could they possibly give to each other?
What horrible pressures drove them all to seek relief in the stark granite comfort station?
Who really cares enough to answer these questions?
J Morgan Cunningham cares. He cares enough to drag you behind the scenes where no writer ever dared or wanted to go before. Into the famed 42nd Street Bryant Park Comfort Station!”
