First UK edition hardback in very good condition for its age.  Tanning to pages and bumped at head and tail of book spine.  The dust jacket is complete, still shows the price but is showing some signs of wear.

SYNOPSIS:  “A novel featuring the great-great-grandfather of Billy Bunter of Greyfriars. When we first meet William Bunter he is recovering from the insatiable demands of an exceptionally lustful Begum in the remote Indian state of Sumroo. He has been confined by her to quarters for a period of enforced dieting and recuperation to equip him for his next tour of duty. With mortal enemies prowling outside the palace, and an undertain but unpleasant future within it, he is driven at the early age of twenty-two to write his Memoirs. And what Memoirs the are!”
