This book club edition is in very good condition for its age. Slight rubbing at top and bottom of book spine. Age tanning to pages. Foxing to top edges of the pages not affecting text.  The dust jacket is complete, but is showing some signs of wear.   A Philip Blackwood of the Royal Marines adventure set in 1850.
