Comments & Further Information

A first UK edition hardback with a full 1 to 10 number sequence indicating a first printing.  In very good condition for its age.  Bumped at head and tail of book spine.  Tanning to pages.  Slight staining to top edges of pages not affecting text.  The un-priced dust jacket is complete but is showing some signs of wear to the extremities.

Written by Alastair MacNeill and based on a detailed story outline by Alistair Maclean.

SYNOPSIS:  “Due to deliver an important speech at the UN in New York, Jamel Mobuto is an obvious target for an assassin’s bullet – and an obvious case for UNACO (United Nations Anti-Crime Organization).  But the CIA are also closely involved and when they reveal that the only man who knows the time and place for the assassination is the international terrorist Jean Jacques Bernard, now an Agency Operative, UNACO realises it has a potentially explosive situation on its hands.
