Comments & Further Information

A paperback edition in very good condition for its age.  The pages are quite heavily age tanned but the book remains eminently readable and is tightly bound and square.  This is the 1983 reprinting of the 1967 edition.

SYNOPSIS:  “Office life can be wearing… and dangerous. Clarence Fortinbras sets out to uncover a big fraud at National Calculating. Quite soon he is stopped… with the cord of his own adding machine.

Thatcher is the resilient Vice President of the Sloan Guaranty Trust and in an excellent position to do a little sleuthing of his own before the murder figures on Wall Street rise to disasterous heights. Death, which was the end for Clarence Fortinbras, is only the beginning for John Putnam Thatcher.”
