Comments & Further Information

First Corgi edition. John Creasey writing as Gordon Ashe. The book is in generally VERY GOOD condition FOR ITS AGE but is showing signs of wear. Very light tanning to pages. Some minor creasing to covers and spine. A Patrick Dawlish thriller. “Someone wanted Patrick Dawlish dead – and had sent him a note telling him so. His wife Felicity had received a similar note – someone wanted her dead, too… Dawlish had just returned from the International Crime Haters’ Conference in Zurich, where he had made headlines in a speech calling for stricter laws against criminals. The Home Office and Scotland Yard were outraged. Back in London, Dawlish’s future with the CID looked bleak – there was talk of disbanding his department. But these worries became unimportant when he returned home to discover that Felicity was desperately ill – with arsenic poisoning. And incredibly, Dawlish realised that he was under suspicion of attempting to murder his wife…” IN STOCK FOR IMMEDIATE DESPATCH
