Comments & Further Information

A US edition trade (larger-sized) paperback of 116 pages.  Originally published in 2001, this is a later, undated reprint.

Some light tanning to pages.  Appears unread.

SYNOPSIS:  “A Chicago publisher told H L Drake about a science fantasy author who had written novels proselytizing the communication theory known as general semantics.  Thus a nearly three-decades long project was begun which included research, interviewing, writing and convention presentations about the late “Golden Age of SF” author, A E van Vogt.

This book presents Drake’s select study of van Vogt.  The two men shared an interest int he subject of general semantics, and additional perspectives are presented which shed light on how and why van Vogt wrote some of his fiction and non-fiction.”
