Comments & Further Information

A first UK edition (First Printing) paperback copy – stated on front cover ‘First time in paperback’. John Creasey writing as Gordon Ashe. The book is in VERY GOOD condition FOR ITS AGE but is showing signs of wear. Age tanning to pages. Previous owner’s name and address neatly written on first page. A Patrick Dawlish novel. “It was Hugo Pence, security officer for a Midlands aeronautical firm, who first saw the significance of a new and disturbing type of brain drain. Key staff in the plane and car industries were being enticed away from their jobs, only to disappear without a trace. Those who were foolish enough to stay put, died quickly – regretting their folly… Pence’s investigations were cut short by an attempt on his life. And Patrick Dawlish, Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Crime at New Scotland Yard was called in.” IN STOCK FOR IMMEDIATE DESPATCH
