This is a First (Thus) US edition with a full 1-10 number sequence and a stated “First Edition: January 1998”, so it is a first in this edition. The book is described as first thus because there appears to be a Ballantine edition published at the same time. The book is in very good condition for its age. Rough-cut leading edges (common in US titles) and there is a bump to the head and tail of the book spine. Some tanning to pages. The dust jacket is complete, still shows the price but is showing some signs of wear. Some rubbing at extremities.
