This small sized American paperback dates from 1960 and has had a hard life. The pages are heavily tanned and the covers are grubby with some staining, a crease across the top left hand corner of the rear cover and some slight damage to the base of the spine and chips to the spine. However, it remains tightly bound and eminently readable.
A Perry Mason novel.
SYNOPSIS: “Perry Mason’s client was guilty… at least of some things. She was living under a false name. She had taken another woman’s purse containing $4,000. She had stabbed a man with an ice pick. She had fled from an accident in which another person was killed… But had she committed one murder or two murders?”
