This is a book club edition which lacks a dust jacket. The book is undated but the title was originally published by Gifford in 1952. Bumped and rubbed at head and tail of book spine which is also faded. The boards are bumped at all four corners and are also rubbed at the edges. Heavy age tanning to pages and some foxing to page edges. When the book was printed it looks like it has been printed with two different types of paper as there is a block of more white pages in the centre – see photograph.
