A first UK edition hardback.  Age tanning to pages.  Small neat inscription on ffep York 1981.  the dust jacket is complete and still shows the price but is showing signs of wear to extremities.  The white of the dustjacket is now rather yellow and there is a vertical small tear at the top edge of the rear panel which has been sympathetically repaired.

Second of a trilogy of novels begun with Ennal’s Point, a story of lifeboat rescue in the Bristol Channel.

SYNOPSIS:  “It was to be a secret voyage, as young Captain Hannah told the Mate, out around Cape Horn and up the arid west coast of South America. But it turned out to be more than that, a voyage into the past which decided the Captain’s future.”
